DAY 1: Airport concentration and flight through stopovers for the capital of Ladakh, Leh, which is the center of Buddhist India. It is a small town built at an altitude of 3,445 meters in the middle of a desolate plateau.

DAY 2: Arrival, transfer and check in at our hotel. Then we will have our first contact with the city and will see, among other things, the 9th-floor former palace of the kings of Ladakh (local royal family) of the 17th century. The palace offers a nice view of the city and the mountain range. Return to our hotel.


DAY 3: This day is we will visit many Buddhist monasteries such as Shey, Thiksey and Hemis, which we will see on a day trip to the Ladak along the Indo River valley. Thiksey is the most famous and beautiful monastery which is located on top of a hill in Thiksey village, approximately 19 km east of Leh. The monastery is located at an altitude of 3,600 meters in the Indus Valley. Return to our hotel.

DAY 4: During this day, we will visit the 15th-century Spitock Monastery, located about 10 km from Leh, on the right bank of the Indus River. We will continue with the 16th-century Phang Monastery, located about 17 km from Leh. Return to Leh and visit the palace museum. Return to our hotel.

DAY 5: Transfer to the airport and boarding our return flight via an interchange.
