Mount Everest Packages Program for Group Travelers
Day 1 – 2: The Mount Everest package begins with the concentration at the airport and flight to Kathmandu, Nepal. Arrival in Kathmandu at noon on the 2nd day. The arrangement at the hotel and rest time is free for the group to ride in the city. Kathmandu has beautiful streets and many temples. Overnight.
Day 3: Wake early in the morning, transfer to the airport for our amazing flight over the Himalayas, for Tenzing-Hillary airport, also known as Lukla airport. It is a very popular airport (2.800 m) because is the only airport in Everest area and also is the place where most people and groups start the climb tour. From here we start our hiking tour among the mountainous landscapes. After 4 to 5 hours we will reach Pangding or the neighboring beautiful Mojo (2.650m). Mojo is a small village which is built on the banks of a river in a dense pine forest. Overnight
Day 4: Our new day begins with mountaineering hike to Namche Bazaar (3.440 m), the most important village in the area. Our route is difficult, we will pass through incredibly wooded landscapes and we will gain altitude quickly. We will face that problem by taking short breaks regular. This route will take us about 5 hours. After arriving our goal we have free rest time for acclimatization at the new altitude. Also, we can shop in the beautiful bazaar many things such as memorable things, Tibetan artifacts and also trekking and climbing equipment. Overnight.
Day 5: We start our day with hiking among the forested hills and valleys of the Himalayas to reach after 7 hours Tengboche area, where is the largest Buddhist monastery in the entire region. On our way, we will see for the first time the top of Everest. Overnight.
Day 6: We continue gaining altitude passing beautiful hanging bridges and Buddhist temples. We will walk under the famous Ama Dablam, which is the 3rd most famous hill of Himalaya for trekking. From there we will have a unique view of the Pheriche valley. Overnight.
Day 7: Today we will enter the Alpine zone, so will have our first contact with the snow. We are hiking in Dingboche (4.300 m). It is a very nice route with the great view of the mountainous surroundings. Overnight.
Day 8: Today, we will walk too Dughla (4.620 m) and then we will reach the altitude of 4.930 m in Lobuche. From there we can see giant beautiful mountains like Pumori, Lhotse, Chumbu. Overnight.
Day 9: Walking along the Khumbu glacier we can see amazing landscapes of the highest peaks of the globe. Arrival at noon at Gorak Shep (5.210 m).
Day 10: All day trip to Everest’s camp base. Overnight
Day 11 to 14: It’s time to start our return, following the same route. Get back to Lukla airport for our departure. Overnight.
Day 15: Morning flight over the Himalayas and arriving in Kathmandu. Transfer to the airport and free time for walks and shopping. Overnight.
Day 16: Early wake up and transfer to the airport for the return flight. Boarding and flight via intermediate airport station. Arrival on the evening.
